Playlist for 29-Jan-13

It's a good thing we have so much awesome Canadian music to keep our blood flowing and our toes twitching to dance ... especially with the weather in such a freezing state.
Here's what we heard today:
The Stoves, Slippery's Club Hits Side 1 (Anthology), Can't Slow Down;
Great Bloomers, Distant Fires, Fear Will Make A Fool of You;
Bocephus King, Willie Dixon God Damn!, Willie Dixon God Damn!;
The Flowers of Hell, Odes, Super-Electric;
Whiskey Chiefs, Love You Miss You, Learn How to Listen;
Golden BC, Just Take It, Afraid to Wake Up;
The Damn Truth, Dear in the Headlight, Downtown;
Maqlu, Malfeasance, Lucky Paw;
A Tribe Called Red, Trapline EP, Unlimited Trap;
Notch 21, Cryptic Noise Machine, Test Your Destiny;
Daniel Romano, Come Cry With Me, Middle Child;
Corin Raymond, There Will Always Be a Small Time, There Will Always Be a Small Time;
The Sweet Lowdown, May, Drink It Down;
Myriad3, Tell, Mr. Awkward;
Erin Propp with Larry Roy, Courage My Love, The Frost;
Eugene Ripper, Fast Folk Underground III Quiet Light, Hammer Down;
Kat Danser, The Engadine Sessions: Come to the Mountain, Come to the Mountain;
Acres and Acres, Truth & Sky, Shake the Moon;
Mister Lucky, Coming Home, Angel;
The Happy Unfortunate, July Never Dies, Knew You;

We heard some totally wonderful Canadian Jazz compliments of Big Miller. We heard almost the entire album titled Phoenicia: Live from Calgary.

Don't forget ... dipping into unknown music is good for the heartbeat!!!
