Listening to great Canadian musicians leads to a great life! Perhaps you find that statement a little far-fetched but I think you will have an awesome time disproving it. Here is who improved our lives this morning:

Badbadnotgood, III, Triangle;
Jon McKiel, New Traces, Tropical Depression;
International Zombies of Love, You Heard This Wish, Oh What a Life;
Philippe B, Ornithologie La Nuit, L'Année du Serpent;
Night Committee, Heaven, Coal;
Hawksley Workman, Between the Beautifuls, All the Trees Are Hers;
SideKick, SideKick, Mentos;
Strange Planes, Makeshift Spaceship, The Big Parade;
Hawksley Workman, For Him and the Girls, Sweet Hallelujah;
Leisure Cruise, Leisure Cruise, Livin' It Up;
The Librarian, EVD Bass 3 [Compilation], Booksy Riddim;
Sabota, Sabota, Stumble;
Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne, Rollin' with the Blues Boss, Hootenanny Boogie-Woogie;
Raoul & the Big Time, Hollwood Blvd, Amphetamine;
Matt Andersen, Weightless, Alberta Gold;
Greg de Denus, Solo Piano Live at Gallery 345, Falling Grace;
Audrey Ochoa Quartet, Trombone and Other Delights, The Shadow of My Shadow;
David Blake, Next Year People, Small Abyss;
Pacifika, Amor Planeta, Yo Te Amo;
Canailles, Ronds-Points, Coeur de Gawa;
Cripple Creek Fairies, Leather Witch, Mind Upon the Void;
Matthew Barber, Big Romance, Magnet Eyes;
The Fretless, The Fretless, June Tune;

Backup air waves filled graciously by Daniel Janke from a self-titled vinyl that hit the station in 1984. It was produced by Scratch Records of Whitehorse, Yukon and included such awesome Canadian musicians as Michel Donato on Acoustic Bass, Sophie Dugas on Violin, Muhammed Abdul Al-Khabyyr on Trombone, Jim Hillman on Drums, Aldo Mazza playing Vibraphone, Marimba & miscellaneous percussion, and Jean-Pierre Zanella on Sax Clarinet & Flute … not to mention Daniel Janke himself on Piano, Kora and something called Prepared Piano.

Hope you enjoyed!
